1. Delete your account inside the app
If you signed in with Google, email, or Apple in the future, you can delete your account directly inside CryptoBriefs.
- Open CryptoBriefs.
- Go to Profile or Settings.
- Open the account section.
- Select Delete Account and confirm the request.
2. Request deletion through the public web path
If you cannot access the app, email hi@cryptobriefs.app with the subject line CryptoBriefs Account Deletion Request.
Include the email address tied to your account, or clearly describe the account you want deleted. We may ask for minimal verification before completing the request.
3. What is deleted
When an account deletion request is completed, CryptoBriefs deletes or deactivates account-linked profile data, topic preferences, bookmarks, push-token registrations, and other account-specific application data associated with that user profile.
If you connected premium or wallet features, related account records are also removed or disconnected as part of the deletion flow where technically and legally permitted.
4. What may be retained
We may retain limited records where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, billing, payment reconciliation, security, or dispute resolution. Any retained records are kept only for the period required by those obligations.
5. Guest access and anonymous users
If you used CryptoBriefs as a guest without creating a full account, your product state may exist under an anonymous profile. If you want that state removed, contact hi@cryptobriefs.app and mention that the request is for anonymous or guest data deletion.
6. Processing time
We aim to process valid deletion requests promptly. Some requests may require additional verification or time if there are active billing, payment, fraud, or legal review obligations attached to the account.
